A few years ago, I took a plant dying class from one of our region's well-renowned plant dyers. There was about 8 people in the class so we all got a lot of individual attention. In the process, you use two pieces of fabric, one is what will be the finished piece, and the other is the "blanket" that holds everything in place. This was a piece of wool sweater sleeve. I took the piece and cut it in half and used it for both sides. The lining and wristlet are bedsheeting. It's an odd shape because of sleeve.
The bag is 9" wide x 4" tall on one side and 5" tall on the other. It has a 47" adjustable and removable shoulder strapand it is stabilized with interfacing and has a coordinating zipper. Perfect for a phone, a wallet and a few other things - makes a great dress bag for an evening out.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
