About
I've been a frugal maker, baker, gardening & wildlife fan my entire life. These loves have nurtured a strong passion in me for the welfare of our planet. My contribution to environmental conservation and my dedication to that mission is to reduce landfills and trash bins by taking discarded items and turning them into something new and useful for years to come.
The items I present to you here, each are handmade and contain an element of a former garment or bit of clean old linens or possibly an old men's suit coat, but they ALL have a bit of me and my passion for slow fashion. Unwanted items have a new home and are kept out of our waste system -- it's a win/win. Once you begin to appreciate the time, care and craftsmanship in a great upcycled item you'll become addicted and want to seek out other terrific upcycled makers! Do it! We're all here making beautiful new items from the world's discard pile for your pleasure and our passion.
