This awesome one-of-a-kind upcycled tote bag is made with a vintage men's herringbone suitcoat - each side has both front pocket panels so, two pockets on the outside of the bag and the entire outside of the bag has been freehand machine embroidered. The trim is a new custom eyeball fabric. The lining, wristlet, and lobster claw latch are hand-dyed bedsheeting. The zipper pocket new is custom skull fabric. And there are several matching charms attached. It approximately measures 16” x 15” x 6” and has an invisible zipper panel, an internal zipper pocket, an internal lobster claw latch to hook keys and such, and 27" long handle straps. All external materials are backed with fusible backing to make it sturdy and it has 3 total pockets.
This bag is, I'd say, 85% of upcycled and is big enough to hold a computer, an afghan-sized yarny project, 9 skeins of yarn (as shown in photo) or it could be a purse or a kickass diaper bag... the possibilities are endless.
