There's a really great little thrift shop up the street from me. They have a yearly "fill a paper bag" sale for $10. This is when I go in and purchase all the vintage men's wool suit coats that sit there all year. We're in a mostly warm climate that does't warrant wool coats, particularly lined coats. This was a gorgeous wool suit that I partnered with this great argyle dog fabric. I then freehand machine embroidered the jacket fabric with a fun diamond design. The lining and wristlet are hand-dyed bedsheeting.
It's 8"x9" and is the smallest of my project bags, it can hold up to 2 hanks of fine yarn and is good for a pair of socks or a one skein shawl/scarf. It can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for. It has a detachable handle and is stabilized with interfacing so it easily stands on its own.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
