During lockdown lots of folks dropped stuff at my doorstep. Many times, I didn't know them. And even some other times folks dropped stuff off completely anonymously. This vintage velvet swatch was from a neighbor who gave me a small box of alll velvet or satin swatches. There may he enough of this for one more bag in the future. I combined it with this beautiful cornucopia of bread fabric and some swanky freehand machine embroidery. The lining and wristlet is bedsheeting.
It's 8"x9" and is the smallest of my project bags, it can hold up to 2 hanks of fine yarn and is good for a pair of socks or a one skein shawl/scarf. It can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for. It has a detachable handle and is stabilized with interfacing so it easily stands on its own.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
