During lockdown, one of my neighbors gave me a box of their mother's textiles. This tablecloth is one of those fabrics. I combined it with this custom Frida Khalo fabric and freehand machine embroidered it on both sides. The lining and wristlet are bedsheeting.
14.5"x11" with a 4" box. This would fit a large shawl, a sweater, or an afghan, and it can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for. It has a detachable handle and is stabilized with interfacing, so it easily stands on its own.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke-free/pet friendly.
