Ventua, Ca has a fantastic collection of thrift shops on their Main Street. I grabbed this beautiful metallic brocade at one of their shops years ago. This beautiful brocade made for a stunning cell phone-sized bag. The lining and wristlet are hand-dyed bedsheeting.
This functional upcycled handmade bag is unique in that it can be worn 3 different ways: As a crossbody, a hipbag (fanny pack-ish) also known as a belt bag, or carried as a clutch.
The bag is 6x7, with a 50" adjustable and removable shoulder strap and an 8" removable wristlet, it is stabilized with interfacing and has a coordinating zipper. Perfect for a phone, a wallet and a few other things - makes a great festival bag.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
