My neighborhood really came through during lockdown! I received bags upon bags of used textiles. One person dropped off like 3 or 4 giant bags of denim. I'm pretty sure that's where these jeans came from. I paired the denim with this beautiful rainbow ladybug and snail fabric. I also freehand machine embroidered some of the same insects onto the denim, on both sides, as a focal points. The lining and wristlet are a retired nurse's scrubs.
