If you've landed here you've decided you want me to create a custom upcycled messenger bag for you. If you want me to pull from my textile library you just tell me what you want and I'll send you images of fabric samples for you to review and approve. Or if you want to send me sentimental garments I'll be happy to make something for you from a loved one's garments they'll just need to fit the criteria* (see below). Once we get sign-offs on the textile combinations I will then make your bag and send it to you within (depending on my work load) about 2-3 weeks. If there is a longer schedule I'll keep you informed.
This bag is big enough to hold a good sized computer and will have multiple pockets -- the final number will vary based on the upcycled fabrics used. It will be stabilized with interfacing and all hardware will be at my discretion unless you have specific requests, which could alter the price. Artistic freehand machine embroidery is also at my discretion -- but, let's talk!
The bag itself is 13"w x 10"h
The 2"w strap is adjustable and is 58" long
The pocket under the flap on the outside of the bag is 5 1/4"w x 4 3/4"h
The inside zipper pocket is roughly between 5 - 8"w
The inside big pocket is 9 1/2"w x 8"h
The two smaller pockets mounted on top of the big pocket are 4"w x 5 1/4"h.
And the variable outside pockets depending on garments chosen.
* 1) At least 75% of the bag must be upcycled.
