I'm a fan of dying textiles, I've been doing it for over 40 years. I haven't had the opportunity to do it very often lately but every single time is like the first time. I prefer to work with indigo these days because it's sourced from a plant. I just dig the whole staying with nature thing. This piece is from a larger bed sheet that had stripes in the weave (not dyed, just the way it was woven); I used seeds and rubber bands to achieve the effect and then used permanent fabric markers over the top. I had a lot of fun on this one.
This piece does not have a finished edge but I'd be happy to add one for you, choose that option in the options.
