This awesome one-of-a-kind upcycled shoulder tote bag is made with segments of an Ikea sofa cover given to me by a neighbor. It was pretty dirty when I got it and it required multiple deep washings with bleach to get it back it its white stage, I then dyed it using natural indigo dye and look at how beautiful it turned out! It approximately measures 16” x 14” x 6” and has an invisible zipper panel, an internal zipper pocket, an external pocket, a detachable wristlet attached to a D-ring to hook keys and such, and 20" long handle straps. All external materials are backed with fusible backing to make it sturdy. Lining and wristlet are hand-dyed bedsheeting.
This bag is big enough to hold a computer, an afghan-sized yarny project, 10-12 skeins of yarn (as shown in sample photo) or it could be a kickass purse or diaper bag or whatever you use a big beautiful bag for!
