A few years ago, a neighbor gave me a round vintage brocade tablecloth that had a burn hole in it. I cut the hole out and have used this tablecloth in a number of bags. I combined it with this beautiful cornucopia of bread fabric and some swanky freehand machine embroidery. The lining and wristlet is bedsheeting.
It's 8"x9" and is the smallest of my project bags, it can hold up to 2 hanks of fine yarn and is good for a pair of socks or a one skein shawl/scarf. It can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for. It has a detachable handle and is stabilized with interfacing so it easily stands on its own.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
