One of my neighbors is an incredible photographer. He specializes in 1890s photography using actual cameras from the era. He has a whole wall of those big box cameras in his studio. It sometimes takes upwards of a year to pull together a set for just one image. He just finished a book he had printed in Italy. He's pretty spectacular. Anyway, after he finished his book, he and his partner cleaned out years of stuff out of their house, studio, dark room, and backyard storage. They gave me a box full of luxurious textiles and garments from that clearing out. This beautiful brocade is true metallic - it's been woven with fine metal thread. It's stunning. And then I combined it with this fun glow-in-the-dark dinosaur skeletons fabric. The lining and wristlet are hand-dyed bedsheeting.
14.5"x11" with a 4" box. This would fit a large shawl, a sweater, or an afghan and it can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for. It has a detachable handle and is stabilized with interfacing so it easily stands on its own.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
