Near the beginning of the lockdown someone was kind enough to gift me several bags of fabric from dress manufacturer in downtown Los Angeles. There even a couple of partial bolts in the deal and this beautiful pre-machine embroidered linen was in that haul. I had enough I even made myself a dress out of it. So, this piece got put thru my dye buckets twice, first the turquoise and then next was the purple. I combined it with this fantastic peacock feather fabric and look! AMAZING, RIGHT? The lining and wristlet are hand-dyed bedsheeting, too.
This bag is 10"x11" and is one of the two mid-sized project bags I have. It can hold up to 3 hanks of fine yarn and is good for a 2 skein shawl or scarf. It can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for. It has a detachable handle and is stabilized with interfacing so it easily stands on its own.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
