The external upcycled fabrics in these bags are different but dyed at the same time. The big bag has bits of an ikea sofa cover and the small bag has some remnant cotton poplin. I partnered it with this fun red and white floral.... combined they create a beautiful medley. The external upcycled fabrics are freehand machine embroidered and the linings and wristlets are hand-dyed bedsheeting. I made 2 bag sizes in these exact fabrics.
LARGE: 14.5"x11" with a 4" box. This would fit a large shawl, a sweater, or an afghan and it can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for.
SMALL: This bag is 8"x9" and is the smallest of my project bags, it can hold up to 2 hanks of fine yarn and is good for a pair of socks or a one skein shawl/scarf. It can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for. It's PERFECT for a pair of socks.
Each bag has a detachable handle and is stabilized with interfacing so it easily stands on its own.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
