A few years ago I took some art classes at our local community center, there I met a bunch of really groovy folks. One of those folks brought me a large collection of her mother's vintage hand dip starched kitchen towels. You NEVER find them still dip starched from the 50-60s! I felt like she brought me a pile of unicorns! There were several in that group that were EXACTLY like the ones we used at the pizza joint I worked for in high school. Heck, our pizza place even had matching tablecloths and napķins! I didn't have a lot of this pizza fabric, but they just HAD to go together. These bags are a little smaller than my normal medium-sized bags (10x10), so the price is adjusted accordingly. The towel is freehand machine embroidered and the linings and wristlets are hand-dyed bedsheeting. I made 2 bags in these exact fabrics.
This size can hold up to 3 hanks of fine yarn and is good for a 2 skein shawl or scarf. It can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for.
Each bag has a detachable handle and is stabilized with interfacing so it easily stands on its own.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
