One of my neighbors is an incredible photographer. He specializes in 1860s photography using actual cameras from the era. He has a whole wall of those big box cameras in his studio. It sometimes take upwards of a year to pull together a set for just one image. He just finished a book he had printed in Italy. He's pretty spectacular. Anyway, after he finished his book, he and his partner cleaned out years of stuff out of their house, studio, dark room, and backyard storage. They gave me a box full of luxurious textiles and garments from that clearing out. This brocade tablecloth was part of that give. It combined so well with this beautiful rainbow-y, psychedelic cannabis fabric. The tablecloth is freehand machine embroidered and the linings and wristlets are hand-dyed bedsheeting. I made 3 bag sizes in these exact fabrics.
LARGE: 14.5"x11" with a 4" box. This would fit a large shawl, a sweater, or an afghan and it can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for.
MEDIUM: This bag is 10"x11" and is the mid-sized project bag of the three sizes I have. It can hold up to 3 hanks of fine yarn and is good for a 2 skein shawl or scarf. It can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for.
SMALL: This bag is 8"x9" and is the smallest of my project bags, it can hold up to 2 hanks of fine yarn and is good for a pair of socks or a one skein shawl/scarf. It can also carry craft supplies, accessories, or any other kind of items a bag can traditionally be used for. It's PERFECT for a pair of socks.
Each bag has a detachable handle and is stabilized with interfacing so it easily stands on its own.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Smoke free/pet friendly.
